David Buelow is a feature film producer with over 30 years of experience in the film and television industry.
Buelow has acted as president and/or production executive for companies such as The Arthur Company/MCA/Universal Television, The Don Johnson Company, First Family Entertainment, Brookwell McNamara Entertainment and most recently Envision Media Arts. Buelow has produced hundreds of hours of television and a dozen feature films with stars such as Eddie Murphy, John Cusack, Dylan McDermott, Julia Ormond, Vincent D’Onofrio and many more. His films have been accepted into such prestigious film festivals as Sundance, Tribeca, and Sitges.
Most recently Buelow was the Executive Producer of “Shadrach”, a family drama series for which will stream first quarter 2024. In 2020, Buelow executive produced the feature film, “Ice Road”, starring Liam Neeson and Laurence Fishburne which was sold to Netflix for a record-setting $18M for domestic rights only. In 2012, Buelow developed his original idea, “Teen Beach Movie” for Disney Channel and executive produced the film which became the second highest-rated cable movie in television history. The soundtrack peaked at #3 in Billboard’s Top 100 and #1 on iTunes, where it remained in the top 5 selling soundtracks for 8 weeks. In 2015, Buelow executive produced the sequel, “Teen Beach 2” which garnered over 13.3 million viewers.
Buelow has an extensive background in content development, packaging and producing and has sold projects to all the major studios and networks including Disney, Universal, Warner Brother, Sony, MGM, Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, USA, HBO, Showtime and many other.
