Katie Hannon is a community volunteer and arts advocate with deep roots in Berks County, growing up with both maternal and paternal grandparents in the area and then settling here to raise her family. She has served on numerous local boards, including Friends of the Freedman Gallery, the Reading Public Museum, Reading Theater Project and Reading Area Community College (RACC). Katie has chaired fundraisers for St. Joseph’s Hospital, RACC, and the Reading Public Museum where she began the popular Halloween Bash. She also originated the first children’s summer camp program at the museum which has provided decades of summer learning for generations of children.
