At its core, this movie is about love, and what it means to be in love. We all form these relationships with others. We see them and no matter where we are, we feel at home. Their smell becomes a comfort to us. Their laughter and voices become infectious tools that fuel our desire to keep them safe. We learn who they are from top to bottom, to the point where we’re able to subconsciously gravitate toward specific topics of conversation, develop habits together and even be able to predict what they’ll say before they say it. But learning these idiosyncrasies and imperfections requires time and attentiveness, and only emerges after applying a level of complete dedication and trust toward the relationship.
