Cammie Harris is an accomplished executive with twenty years of leadership and entrepreneurial experience. She started as a part-time Operations Manager at ReadingFilm but quickly rose to become the Executive Director. Through her hard work, she was able to create a sustainable model for the ReadingFilmFEST and re-established the Reading Film Office to attract film production to the Berks County Area. Under Cammie’s leadership, the organization became an independent non-profit 501c3 in 2021, with a board of directors consisting of community leaders and organizers. Cammie’s ability to establish strong relationships with community partners, secure grants, and develop community-based programs has been critical to the success and growth of both the ReadingFilm organization and the ReadingFilmFEST. Before her work with ReadingFilm, Cammie served as the Executive Director of the WCR Center for the Arts, where she successfully secured grant funds to maintain the 100-year-old building and created diverse and enriching community programs through new partnerships.
Throughout her career, Cammie has lead large teams to complete multi-million dollar projects for corporations such as Merrill Lynch and Allied Signal. She has also owned and operated three small restaurants, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen.
