Executive Producer

ReadingFilm co-founder, Santo has served as the Film Commissioner since 2006. He wrote and executive produced Location! Location! to promote Greater Reading as a “location destination” for film/TV projects. Other screen credits include Senior Exploits (Writer/Producer); Then Came You (Executive Producer); American Standard (Producer); Breaking the Habit (Executive Producer).

Tracy Schott

Tracy Schott
Creative Director

Tracy Schott is a producer/director and founder of Schott Productions, which creates film and video projects, including short films, television commercials, programming, and live/theatrical events. In addition to hundreds of commercial projects Tracy’s  credits include: ReadingFilm’s Location! Location!,  (Emmy-nominated) Dream Weddings, and the award winning documentary film, Finding Jenn’s Voice.   She is also responsible for bringing the  Rabbit Run trailers to FEST audiences.

Melissa Varone

Melissa Varone
Festival Operations Manager

Melissa Varone will serve as FEST Manager, managing the day to day operations of the festival. With 20 years of marketing, communications, and public relations experience, Melissa offers marketing strategy and event planning consulting services for businesses and non-profits in our community.

Sue Lange

Sue Lange
Jury Director

Novelist, playwright, and screenwriter, Sue’s short film, Jump, was screened at the Philadelphia Urban/Suburban festival in 2011 and the Reading Shorts Festival in 2013. Sue is the producer and writer of A Perfect You, an award-winning short film. She is currently in development of Traffic Opera, a short film shot in Reading this summer!  Sue is also the resident playwright for the Reading Theater Project.


Jayme Rhoads
Director of Development

As Development Director, Jayme works with sponsor relations, donor development, fundraising, and partnership building. She brings over 20 years of experience working closely with the non-profit community, fundraising and event planning.

Tara Sands                         Program Associate

This is Tara’s second year acting as our “go to” woman for all things festival related. She’s the cool head when all h#%! is breaking loose. Look for her if you have a question. She’ll find the answer!
